The power supply unit supplied is specially designed for the CCV Pad Next terminal.
Do not use any other power supply unit! - First steps
1. Cable on the device
Remove the screw on the terminal cover.
Connect the main plug.
Close the terminal cover and screw the screw back on.
2. The VBOX connection box offers the following interfaces

3. Wiring diagram
Connect the power supply after completing the above steps. Connect the Ethernet (RJ45) to the LAN and finally connect the power supply unit to the power supply.
- Commissioning in 5 steps
1. Switch on the terminal
After successful installation, the terminal switches itself on. The terminal is delivered pre-configured and after it has started, it only needs to be connected to the cash register by the POS system. In this case, skip to point 5 for further information.
If DHCP is not active on the router or a manual Internet connection is necessary or desired, continue reading from point 2.
Only a power supply unit approved by CCV for this type of terminal (with CE mark) may be used.The power supply unit supplies the terminal with the appropriate power.Damaged power supply components (cables, plugs, etc.) cannot be replaced by the user. In this case, the components must be brought to our maintenance service in order to carry out the corresponding repairs and/or reinstallation.Please note:The socket outlet for the terminal should be located in an easily accessible place near the point of sale. In the event of danger or malfunction, the power supply unit should be disconnected from the mains.
2. Establish Internet connection via LAN cable
To use your terminal to its full extent, you need a stable Internet connection via LAN or WLAN.
Please note:Routers are always supplied with DHCP active by default.
DHCP must be active on the router. If this is not the case and the settings of your own router are known, you will find further information below.

*To enter letters, press the relevant key several times.
You can enter special characters using the zero key [0].
The correction key [CORR] can be used to correct the entry.
Press the confirmation key [OK] to complete the entry.
Please note:You can find the IP address on your own router. The spelling of the IP address on the terminal must be correct.
Example:
Spelling of the IP address on the router: 192.168.2.1

3. Start initialization
The terminal is delivered pre-configured and should be ready for operation after the network connection has been established. In some cases, initialization may be required, this will be displayed on the screen. Start initialization as follows.

Please note:At the end of the first initialization, the message "Initialization successful" appears. If this is not the case, please contact our Customer service.
4. Operating status
The terminal is controlled via your POS system and displays the adjacent or a similar operating status depending on the retailer's requirements.
5. Set up terminal at checkout
The terminal is supplied as standard for connection via the network at the checkout. All settings for this must be made on the cash register. To do this, the cash register must be in the same network and the IP address of the terminal must be known. This can be found as follows.

The Pad Next can also be connected to a cash register via a serial connection. A suitable cable is required for this and the settings should be made with a cash register integrator. The menu for the connection via the serial port can be accessed as follows.
