The power supply unit supplied is specially designed for the CCV Mobile A920 terminal. Do not use any other power supply unit!
Start by connecting the terminal to the charging cradle. Then connect the charging cradle to the power supply unit and the power supply unit to the power supply.
Pull the release forwards, then fold the cover backwards.
The cover pops open.
Remove the center sleeve of the old paper roll. Remove dust and paper residue from the roll compartment.
Insert the new thermal paper roll as shown in the illustration.
Unroll the end of the paper 5 cm over the tear-off edge and hold it firmly.
Close the paper compartment again. The lock must engage audibly.

The terminal starts directly after the [Power] button on the right-hand side of the device is held down for a few seconds.
The terminal is switched off using the same [Power] button, hold it down for 2 seconds.

The socket outlet for the terminal should be located in an easily accessible place near the point of sale. In the event of danger or a fault, the power supply unit should be disconnected from the mains.
The CCV Mobile A920 terminal is based on the Android operating system and operates accordingly. After the device has been switched on, it boots up and displays the Android home screen.
To enter the card payment mode, on the display SECpos EVO on the display.

Your terminal will be handed over to you already configured by PAYONE. For data transmission in your WLAN (wired network), you will need to log in, which is only possible on site.
For this login you need the following information from your WLAN:
WLAN name/SSID
This is the name with which your network registers via the radio link.
WLAN key (WPA2)
This key (network key) is usually noted on the back of the router. It ensures that no one can gain unauthorized access to your network.
If you change your router to WPA2, all devices already connected to the network must support WPA2. Devices that do not support WPA2 (usually older ones) can then no longer be operated in the WLAN.
To switch to the WLAN manually, you must activate the WLAN.
Terminal now connects to the router. You can recognize the active WLAN by the WLAN reception quality symbol at the top right of the display.

To switch to GPRS manually, you must deactivate the WLAN.
Terminal will now connect to the mobile network. You can recognize the active network by the Network reception quality sign in the top right-hand corner of the display.

After 4 minutes of user activity, the terminal screen goes off automatically.
After 15 minutes of user inactivity, the terminal automatically goes into sleep mode.
After 120 minutes of user activity, the terminal switches off automatically.
The terminal is started with the [Power] button on the right-hand side of the device to "wake" it from sleep mode. With the red cancel button [X] you can always go back one step.
The main menu can be accessed by pressing the right-hand menu function spring (three horizontal strips on top of each other).

You can also access all functions via the favorites list, which you can call up by pressing the [*] function button. The functions (symbols) displayed depend on the range of functions of your terminal. It is therefore possible that, in deviation from these instructions, you will have to scroll down (several times) using the down arrow key to reach the desired function.
Transaction type
This main menu provides quick access to all available transaction types. For example, vouchers, cancelations, tip transactions and much more can be started easily.
In the favorites menu (star symbol) you will find all functions relevant for cashiers.
Press the favorites menu (star symbol).
Then select the arrow key cross symbol.
Select the softkey you want to change.
Then select the new softkey.
The terminal returns to the main screen.
The cross symbol field can be used to overwrite any softkey on the terminal! Therefore, follow the messages on the display carefully.
It is always possible to print a customer receipt after a payment. Simply confirm the corresponding request that appears after the first receipt has been printed.

Contactless payments are possible up to a defined limit without entering a PIN. If the limit is exceeded, the customer will be prompted to enter a PIN. The limit is not set by PAYONE and is currently 50 euros.
For security reasons, it is sometimes necessary to enter the PIN or sign the merchant receipt even for amounts below the limit.
Therefore, please always observe the information on the terminal display and the receipt printouts.

This procedure applies if you have agreed PIN payment with us as part of the payment procedure you have commissioned.
If you have selected payment by SIGNATURE (ELV/OLV), the amount is irrelevant. The signature must be provided depending on the display message.

A reversal is only possible if no cash cut has taken place at the terminal since the booking and no clearing has been carried out by the card-issuing bank (authorization center).
Clearing is usually carried out shortly after midnight local time.

The daily closing should be carried out once a day. Please note that it is no longer possible to cancel a previously made payment after the daily closing!

The daily closing is the final processing release to PAYONE: the sales memory is emptied, no duplicate receipt and no reversal of payments are possible on this day.
The cash report is the subtotal, e.g. when there is a change of cashier. The sales memory is not deleted here and no processing release takes place.
The cash report is used to print out a receipt for the transactions since the last daily closing.
This is purely informative and does not replace the daily closing!

DCC (Dynamic Currency Conversion) offers international customers the opportunity to pay directly in their home currency - at the current daily exchange rate.
How DCC works:
Automatic card recognition
A device with DCC function automatically recognizes the currency of the credit card used and offers the customer DCC.

On the screen, customers can choose whether they want to pay with DCC directly in their home currency or without DCC in the local currency.

For you, the payment processes remain as simple as ever. And thanks to billing in the desired merchant currency, there is no additional work for your accounting department.
Use a dry or slightly damp cloth to clean the terminal.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents containing isopropyl alcohol.
The card reader unit should be cleaned with suitable cleaning cards as required. Cleaning cards are part of the PAYONE cleaning set, which you can obtain directly from PAYONE.
There are repeated attempts to manipulate POS terminals by opening them in order to gain access to the cardholder's card data and personal identification numbers (PINs).
It goes without saying that all PAYONE terminals comply with the current guidelines of the German Banking Industry (DK) as well as the security regulations of the international card organizations and PCI DSS.
Only operate your terminal with the original power supply unit. If you attempt to open the terminal housing, the integrated electronics will be destroyed and all sales will be deleted.
The card-related error messages come from the authorization system of the card used. Only the card issuer can provide information on the accuracy of the messages.
If the card is declined, please always pay attention to the additional text from the card issuer. It can give you important information on how to proceed.
