In order to use the extension in version 3.0, you will need a Magento shop (Version 22.214.171.124 or higher) and a merchant account on the PAYONE platform. If you do not yet have an account, we are happy to help you setting one up. Of course, you can choose to start with a test account. Apart from indicating which payment methods you wish to employ, you will need to order the client API and the server API to use this extension. If you wish to use the integrated risk management services like credit assessments or the POS lock file, you will also have to order the Protect module. The use of any other module is optional and can be ordered at any time.
Please use the provided configuration wizard when updating your extension in order to guarantee the seamless migration of the entire existing database. Since the focus of the newly developed extension was to provide a seamless integration, the front end interface with the PAYONE payment extension 3.0 for Magento is not supported. If you are currently using a front end, please contact us before updating your system.

You can define each payment method as often as required, with various country specifications and freely customisable fees. During configuration, mind the corresponding operating mode of the configured payment method!
You configure the payment methods offered to the customer based on his or her credit rating. In addition to validating and correcting the address data of your customers, you can use the module to check your costumers for adverse criteria and provide only safe payment methods for customers with low credit ratings.
The standard configuration allows you to forward the transaction status of a payment transaction provided by PAYONE to other systems such as ERP or MMS to be able to further process such information within your merchandise management system, for example.
You can track and edit all orders centrally in the Magento Admin Panel. Everything is fully logged and linked. Refunds and bookings are executed directly from the back end and synchronised with the PAYONE Platform automatically.
During configuration, you can assign the corresponding Magento payment status to each transaction status of a payment transaction reported by the PAYONE Platform to individually define the relevant activities and subsequent processes.
