PAYONE develops new payment plugin for Shopware

  • Joint development with Shopware’s certified technology partner FATCHIP
  • Optimised and certified in a usability test by Shoplupe
  • Available in the Shopware Community Store from 23rd May 2016

Kiel, 19th May 2016 – PAYONE has joined forces with the renowned e-commerce agency from Berlin, FATCHIP, to develop an optimised payment plugin for Shopware. FATCHIP is a certified technology partner of Shopware and was therefore the ideal cooperative partner for this development. The plugin offers online retailers more quality, stability and much greater ease of use, and also features innovative new functions, as well as the new PAYONE control centre. PAYONE will present the Shopware payment plugin exclusively at the Shopware Community Day in Ahaus, Germany, on 20th May 2016, and it can be downloaded from the Shopware Community Store from 23rd May 2016. In the Shopware 5 package, the PAYONE plugin is already integrated and online retailers can activate it directly within Shopware.

The optimised PAYONE Shopware plugin offers retailers various innovative features. From now on, a central control centre for all PAYONE settings will be available. The configuration has been redesigned for this with the Shopware function, “Lightweight Backend”. All PAYONE orders that are processed via the integrated plugin can be viewed within the control centre with their key figures displayed. This new function is also combined with comprehensive validation of all input data and straightforward testing options for analysing sources of error. PAYONE and FATCHIP offer exclusive support when implementing this new plugin. This should assist e-commerce dealers with all processes such as installation, troubleshooting and individual adaptation.

The PAYONE Shopware plugin has also been optimised and certified in a usability test by Shoplupe GmbH, an experienced consultancy firm for online mail-order companies. „Shopware places great importance on implementing new and innovative technologies to satisfy all customer and user requirements. I am delighted that we are now able to use our many years of experience in development and the support of PAYONE modules to make them available to the Shopware Community,“ says Hendrik Bahr, CEO of FATCHIP GmbH.
