Recognized over the last two decades as one of the leading pioneers of digital payments, Joe is an accomplished entrepreneur and seasoned executive. His early work in online payment methods, authentication tools, and comprehensive fraud techniques are emerging as industry-wide standards, and have earned PayOne multiple patents. Under Joe’s leadership, PayOne has more than doubled its revenues in four consecutive years, culminating in two Deloitte Fast 50 Awards, and gained recognition as the 11th fastest-growing technology company in Silicon Valley and 33rd fastest-growing company in North America, as well as being listed as one of Inc. 500’s Fastest Growing Companies.
Prior to PayOne, Joe founded and led VRS Billing Systems, a micro-transaction and carrier payments company that was acquired by AT&T. In less than three years, he grew VRS from startup to powerhouse, with annual retail billings of more than $300 million. Under his watch, the company also achieved finalist status for the American Business Awards, as well as a listing on the Forbes Midas List.
A member of the Board of Directors of venture-backed XTRM Sports Network and the MEF (Mobile Entertainment Forum), Joe is a noted and oft-requested speaker and commentator at industry events and for print and broadcast media including Business Week, Forbes, AdWeek, CBS MarketWatch, Investors Business Daily, and CNN. He received a Bachelor of Science and Commerce degree in Finance from Santa Clara University.

Evan Meyer, a member of PayOne’s founding executive team, has successfully steered the company to profitability, without requiring venture capital investment. Evan is responsible for developing PayOne’s financial plan and leads the financial organization that supports the company's aggressive global expansion. He brings more than 19 years of broad financial management experience to PayOne in the digital payment industry.
Evan began his career in finance in the audit department at Pricewaterhouse where he went on to become a senior manager in the Corporate Finance, Recovery and Disputes Group. In total, Evan brings to PayOne more than 25 years of financial management experience across a variety of business and banking sectors, including leadership roles with the Gap and Bank of America.
Also a certified public accountant, Evan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University, and received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington.

Brad joined PayOne in 2003 and oversees carrier relationships and leads commercial operations including sales, marketing, client services, new product, and business development. Under Brad’s leadership, PayOne’s innovative services and expertise have earned its customers more than $5 billion in incremental revenues, defining the direct carrier billing category as it has evolved from the early days of premium SMS (PSMS) into the booming mobile commerce opportunity it represents today.
Brad’s more than two decades of digital experience includes service as vice president of strategic marketing at NewsEdge, a pioneer in digital content, where he achieved double-digit growth, profitability, and a successful IPO. Earlier, he was vice president of marketing and business development at TeleKnowledge, a billing infrastructure company, and also held senior positions at General Electric and Citibank in Latin America.
Brad holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Economics from Tufts University, and earned his MBA in Finance from the Wharton Business School.

A strong believer in leveraging high-quality, open source technologies to build large-scale and robust business applications, Mark is responsible for managing the service bureau operations and all related engineering and product development for PayOne.
Mark joined PayOne in 2003 and has over 20 years of software development and management experience covering a broad range of technologies. Before joining PayOne in 2003, Mark was a director of engineering at Netfish Technologies, a business-to-business integration company, where he helped build the company from 10 to 300 people over a two-year period. After Netfish was acquired by IONA Technologies, Mark stayed on to manage a distributed engineering team focused on infrastructure, business process management, and security. Prior to Netfish/IONA, Mark worked on several distributed systems and call processing applications at Siemens.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University.
